The 0-3 Giants travel to Cleveland on Sunday to face the Browns. The Giants are in a transitional period but still have some talent. Most notable is rookie receiver, Malik Nabers. Nabers has been impressive in his first couple of games in the NFL. He can be dangerous with the ball in his hands. He has 193 yards and the next closest is Wan’Dale Robinson with 62. Devin Singletary has 132 yards rushing this season. The next two highest? Daniel Jones and Wan’Dale Robinson. Daniel Jones has been sacked six times and has thrown two interceptions in two games. By all accounts, this Browns defense should make things very difficult for Daniel Jones and the Giant’s offense.
The Giants are much more talented on the defensive side of the ball. Their defensive line is their strongest unit. Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence, and Kayvon Thibodeaux make up a very strong interior that has the potential to get after the quarterback. They are averaging three sacks a game. However, their linebackers and secondary are nothing special. They have allowed 434 passing yards and 326 rushing yards this year. The 368 yards given up per game ranks 26th in the league. The Browns have the opportunity to get this offense rolling this week. Coupled with the fact that the Browns’ defense will give them some short fields, the offense will be able to move the ball pretty well. Get an early lead and allow this defense to get after Daniel Jones.
Tomorrow I will have some betting lines out and on Sunday morning I will have my breakdown and keys to the game.
Go Browns!!!
