Top 5 Moments of the 2023 Season for the Cleveland Browns

  1. David Njoku running through Raven defenders & Jerome Ford/O-Line moving the pile to set up the game-winning field goal.
    • Although we would soon learn that Watson was out for the year and our Super Bowl hopes were mostly lost, this was a statement game for the Browns. A complete culture shift from the “same old Browns” era. Watson, Njoku, the o-line, and the defensive performance in his game made sure of that. Watching the Browns impose their will on the Ravens was so damn fun to watch. This is the Browns team we look forward to watching in the 2024 season.

  2. The team celebrates with the fans after clinching the playoffs against the Jets
    • What a night in Cleveland this was! With the NFL world watching, the Browns dismantled one of the best defenses in the NFL to clinch a playoff birth with a game to spare. Watching players such as Njoku and Za’Darius Smith celebrate with the fans after the game is a moment I will never forget.

  3. Myles Garrett – Game sealing sack against the Bengals
    • This was not Garrett’s best statistical performance, but the image of Myles standing over Burrow to end the game is seared into my brain. The defense put on an absolute clinic against the Bengals and would set them up to be the best defense in the NFL. An honorable mention would be his strip-sack and blocked field goal against the Colts.

  4. Amari Cooper – Breaking the Browns receiving yards in a game against Houston
    • Without a doubt, Cooper has been the Browns best wide receiver since their return to the NFL. He was completely unstoppable against the Texans putting up 265 yards. Cooper could have gone for more yards if the Browns were not beating the Texans by multiple scores. He was pulled with much of the 4th quarter left.

  5. The Browns beat the 49ers with PJ Walker
    • Not a single person gave the Browns a chance in this game. However, that did not matter to the players in the Browns locker room. They were by far the more physical team in this game. From the jump, the Browns were not taking any disrespect from the 49ers players. This escalated into a little scuffle during pregame. Also, the Browns finally got some luck from the football Gods when Jake Moody missed the game-winning field goal.
